Karyn Walsh is a Brisbane institution. She has been working in the not for profit sector, fighting for better conditions and support for marginalised Queenslanders for decades. She is now the CEO of The Micah Projects, a not-for-profit organisation providing services across the Brisbane Metropolitan Area to over 8,230 people experiencing poverty, trauma, social isolation and domestic violence.  Karyn is known as a tireless campaigner, motivated by good, who has dedicated her life to her work. Vester says of her, "Karyn's dogged determination to bring light to those in times of darkness inspired me to paint her portrait."
